¹² For no one has^(A) ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds^(B) that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

⁴³ And they were all amazed at the greatness of God.

Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time

While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus did, he said to his disciples,

¹⁷ But the wisdom that comes from heaven^(A) is first of all pure; then peace-loving,^(B) considerate, submissive, full of mercy^(C) and good fruit, impartial and sincere.^(D)

¹⁵ Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience^(A) means salvation,^(B) just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.^(C)

¹⁵ Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven^(A) but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.^(B)

¹⁸ At the Lord’s command the Israelites set out, and at his command they encamped. As long as the cloud stayed over the tabernacle, they remained^(A) in camp.

²⁰ Sometimes the cloud was over the tabernacle only a few days; at the Lord’s command they would encamp, and then at his command they would set out.

²¹ He is to stand before Eleazar the priest, who will obtain decisions for him by inquiring^(A) of the Urim^(B) before the Lord. At his command he and the entire community of the Israelites will go out, and at his command they will come in.”
